What is the MicrolabACE Fingerprint attendance device?

MicrolabACE fingerprint attendance device is a fingerprint device that comes with a software and allows attendance to be taken easily. This could be attendance in a company for workers or attendance of students in schools. The attendance gets logged in a PC and can be retrieved at a later date. This device is currently being used in some faculties in Obafemi Awolowo University, ile-ife, Osun State, Nigeria. 

What did i do?

I’m one of the co-founders of MicrolabACE and work as the CTO of the company. I was responsible for designing the PCBs in the fingerprint devices and also writing the firmware which involved using the UART protocol to communicate back and forth with the software.
